Hi guys,
I'm new to this section and had a couple of questions about selling brass. I don't reload myself, but have been saving up my brass for a while now and have about 30 pounds of spend casing. I have a mix of (they are sorted by calibre) .357mag, .38 special, .44 mag and .45ACP.
With the exception of the .45ACP, it is all once fired brass (I only fired new factory ammo in these calibers. The .45ACP is about half and half once fired and mixed from factory reloads.
I know there are a few places not too far from me that might buy this, but was wondering how that is normally done. Are they bought by number of cases (in which case I would have to count them all - should have been keeping track), or by weight?
Are certain calibers worth more than others, and if anyone has an idea what they might be worth I'd appreciate the info. They are in just fired condition, so they haven't been cleaned or de-primed or anything.
Thanks,
JP
