It's an AOW not an SBS so it's legal in most states with a $5 tax stamp and a 5 month wait for the form 4.

I have one. Hard to beat out to about 15 yards. Used to breach doors it is the best. Recoil is not bad at all if you change to a broom handle grip. Transfer is more like 7 months.

I don't see the value! It only holds two rounds. Why not just do it on a double then?? Less moving parts and even quicker. Bet it can be mighty painful with stout loads. A had one of those Mossberg model 500 defenders with a pistol grip. It hurt, and it had a 18 inch barrel!

I've wanted one for a long time...not really practical, but one of those "fun to own" things.

Ya that's the guy...... something never seemed ......."not right" with him.....but always polite..........

maybe it was the pastels and no sock thing...

His name was.....Tubb's ! and it's not as rough as you think on your wrist and it conceals easily and it's 3 with one in the chamber. :)

Don't have one but have sure thought about it. Practical? No, not really. Fun with a major cool factor? Yep, for sure.

They can do it (from what I understand) because the receiver was never a long gun first. It started out its life as an AOW.

So why can't they do that with a SxS? That might be useful to me. Some mini-shells in 12ga.....

Actually 2+1 so three rounds...

But more of a novelty than a serious firearm, IMO.

I looked into them a number of years ago. They were made on Rem 870 or Mossberg 500 receivers. So, with that adapter, a Mossberg based one should be able to use the shorty shells.
