okay. i was wondering about setting up a gun trust. moostly to decrease time and expense with getting silencers,stub noses, and automatic firearms. mostly im curious about the costs involved but if anyone has went this route id like to hear your experiences

Well.. not cheap OR expensive..It depends on the attorney.. figure about $200.00 more or less.. There are attorneys who specialize in this.. check with you LGS, I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.. and then there is the 4 to 6 month wait for the $ 200.00 Tax Stamp for each item..

okay. so not too bad. actually less than i had suspected and for the price it seems to offer a lot of security and more benefits. are there any real downsides? sorry but ive done a little research but it was mostly sales pitches. figured id ask from experience. unbiased people

Get your trust done by a lawyer who is familiar with doing NFA trusts. There have been trusts declared invalid by ATF even after approval, so don't try to do a trust on the cheap.
