Shield 2.0 9mm sights

the promised follow-up - I know everyone is just dying to know...

got the LPA sights, installed the rear adjustable only. because , , , users reported stock front work - in contrast to LPA - which also says mounting their front will require machining. not sure why they sell a sight kit that has to be machined for a mass production handgun, but heh, I'm just a shooter....

I mentioned upthread my left/weak hand has issues. actually,,, it's more of a left-claw. so all the grip advice is kinda' not working....

I shoot low and left (see above) on multiple handguns - it ain't the gun.... it's obviously me.

accidentally on purpose I "invented" a teacup grip that is working well for me. basically a thumb-up parallel to the forward grip edge - under the wrapped shooting hand fingers - essentially creating a 'fatter' grip plus minimizing the left&down death grip pull. the left&down right handed death grip pull seems especially prevalent on compact aka short barrel version. large hands, little grip.... problem.

with the new LPA rear sight installed, bore laser showed it now shooting high. rear sight bottomed out.... so the front sight will also need replacing.

below pix of Shield post rear LPA sight.
does my screwball thumb-up teacup work?

see the PPK/s result. much improved over all else tried.

follow up to the ideas and issues in this thread . . .

using a 9mm cartridge type laser to 'bore sight' the Shield 2.0 works just fine after replacing the OEM non-adjustable sights.

to eliminate the 'weak hand issues, gone to one handed shooting.
still a problem.... then I found the little finger had way too much over-hang on the grip and may/could . . . was . . . the issue. now shooting one handed with a two finger grip.

still to the left. after multiple posts here&elsewhere about 'bore sighting' a pistol being an iffy thing . . . clicked the rear site two to the right.
the old gray hair opinion seems to be the internal weapon dynamics of firing a shot is different than a static bore sighting . . .

last range: 41 rounds, 76% inside 9 ring with 7 bulls eye; a few flyers to the left.

cleaned and clicked the rear sight two to the right - it'll be interesting to see if that puts more rounds on target . . .
