I have 3 7 round magazines for my shield 45. All three are a bear to load, even with the maglula. I have taken them apart, cleaned and reassembled them, same result. they all have "new" followers, have stored them for 2 weeks loaded, same result. I cannot remove the first few rounds manually, have to remove them using the gun. 6 rounders work perfectly. Anyone else have these issues? Thanks

I don't how to do links Googled Shield .45 magazine problems and there is several archived threads on the subject one is Gunmag Warehouse. I clicked on M&P forum and got a ransomware warning. It is usually the 6 Rd mags with problems since they use same spring as the 7 rd. I'm no expert maybe keep loading and shooting and they may ease up some , my 9mm mags have eased little after several hundred rounds. I also have had coupled kinked because I installed them backwards.

For those who cannot load a mag by hand, or using a loader, maybe it's time to buy an EZ series pistol. You might also think about investing in some exercise equipment.

I personally have issues loading the first couple rounds with my S&W magazines in general. After the first couple are loaded the rest load without issue. Never had an issue unloading the magazine.
