Do you all have any suggestions (based on personal use) for Shield .45 holsters that are all-day comfortable and keep the grip pulled in to your side at a 2:30 to 3:00 carry position?

I use DeSantis Speed Scabbard for Shield 45, it's quite satisfactory.

My 3.3" Shield .45 is in a Tulster Profile. My 4" PC Shield .45 is in a Vedder Light Tuck. I carry at 3:30-4:00 and both pull the grip in nicely. Not sure how they'd do if carried farther forward.

This one - there are 2 Shields in my family, and both are carried in the Bianchi Model 57 for the Shield 40 & 45. They're about $55-$60.

I have a Shield 9. Maybe same enough to recommend what I use.
One of my favorite for the Shield 9 is a Mitch Rosen Upper Limit.
I have worn it to business meetings lasting 8 plus hours a day with just a light cover garment/shirt/jacket.

Also I hiked several miles with it in Arches National Park and also while in Death Valley. I do not know just how different the 45 is from the 9.

I carry my Shield 9mm in a Wild Bills Concealment Fusion holster. Before retiring I carried a Glock 23 in one while working. Nice concealment and easy on / off with the small paddle. Tried several paddle holsters over the years and this is the best.

I second the recommendation for the DeSantis Scabbard. High quality and great fit.

I also recommend the Pole-Craft IWB. I actually use it more than my DeSantis Scabbard. Extremely well built and incredibly affordable. And it holds the gun well. Here's a link to that one (click the blue bar):

I carry my 45 Shield in a Vedder Light Tuck at 3 to3:30 and it works great. Its comfortable and keeps the butt in close under my belly fat roll.

I have to second MTR Leather that 'sotexas' recommended.

I'm not sure of which model .45 you need holstering, but MTR does quality work at reasonable prices. Also, they list four different M&P .45 models in their weapons listing.

I carry mine in an Urban Carry OWB LockLeather. Usually under a loose fitting T-shirt.
