I have 2500 rounds through mine. After some initial teething problems that were easily solved, it has turned out to be an excellent pistol, one I would not hesitate to carry. For a compact, its accuracy is superb. I think you'll love it.

I love mine. I even shoot more accurately with it than with my shield 9mm...

Two thumbs WAY UP! I love mine! It's recoil is very similar to my full size USP45. My only complaint is that I wish it had the HiViz sights - but I can add those! ;)

Awesome gun. It's going to be my only single stack gun I own/CC after I sell the PPS M2. It doesn't matter if I use 2 hands or 1 hand, strong or weak hand(s) it's dead on.

Mine is very accurate, but it came with the old style followers in the magazines and it's dropping mags and jamming up while shooting. Fortunately, S&W has already sent me the new style parts and I hope to test them out this weekend. Others have experienced the same issue, see link below...

I love mine. 539 rounds so far, and not one FTE/FTF. It's been perfect. Put Talon grips on it last weekend and the grip feels even better. Trigger is much better than my 9mm was out of the box.

Mine was finicky with lead bullets and I never really loved it. About the time my rebate arrived, I gifted it to my son. He really likes it though. I love my 9mm Shield though.

Very happy with mine. No rebate or special pricing for me. I had to be among the first paid close to 5 bills total.

Great accurate shooter with very manageable recoil for polymer frame 3inch gun.
Have probably 900-1000 down range with no issues. I only use the 7 rd mag. All 4 I have function flawlessly.

Very pleased with my PC 45, the grip is awesome, it's whats on the new 2.0. The trigger reset is much better than the MandP full size. Easy to concel 7 plus 1 more than happy and rebate included.

Have Talon Tape on my 40shield. Find the factory grip on the 45 works well.
We each like a certain feel.

Just brought one home today. Could not pass up the price and incentives from S&W. Looking forward to some range time Wednesday.

Love my Shield PC 45. Shoots better than my Shield 40.

New favorite handgun

I fired my new 45 Shield Performance Center for the first time yesterday and as hard as it is for me to believe, I think I like it better than my 9mm Sig P229. Recoil with the ported barrel makes this as easy to shoot as the Sig and less than my 9mm Shield. I shot Magtech ball, Ruger ARX, Remington Golden Saber, and Sig V-Crown self defense ammo through it and didn't have a single issue with any of it. Stunned to see that the ARX was the most accurate too. I want to try Hornady Critical Defense, Critical Duty, Underwood/Lehigh Xtreme Defender and Federal HST before deciding on my final carry ammo.
