How’s the factory trigger on the new shield 9mm 2.0? Never shot one before and wanting to grab one but not sure if the 2.0 trigger is better than the 1.0 or if I should just go ahead and grab the performance center 2.0? Basically regular 2.0 vs performance center 2.0

I know I'm the odd one here on this but I like the pull of the 1.0 better. For that type of gun and the purpose it was designed for I prefer the heavier pull of the 1.0.

I have no complaints about any of my 2.0 triggers:
45 Shield, 2.0 9mm 3.6" Compact (BEST of all of them imho), 2.0 'Pro Series' 9mm 5" Barrel, 2.0 9mm Shield.

I have a PC and I like the trigger. I haven't actually measured the pull but it feels like 5-6 lbs. to me. Unfortunately I can't tell you how it compares because I've only fired the PC version. To me, having the tritium sights on it from the factory was the biggest draw for the PC option. Otherwise I would've added them myself. Any trigger tweaks are gravy. I don't know if the porting does much or not. From what I read, it reduces muzzle rise a bit. I can confirm that it adds areas to clean.

After some debating I went ahead and jumped on the regular 2.0 shield instead of the pc. Price was a lot of the reason honestly, but the trigger felt pretty good to me on the regular shield. I wasn’t to worried about the porting or various sight options so I settled for the cheaper version

I've had the 1.0 for several years and after numerous rounds and lots of dry firing it feels great to me.

Factory triggers in most self defense type guns are really pretty good for thier intended purpose. My Shield 2.0 9 is about 5.5 -6, pretty consistently, and actually not bad. The trigger on my M&P9c is a little heavier, and not quite as smooth, but still not bad, pretty much right around 6 -6.5. The trigger on my Compact 2.0 9 is on par with the Shield, and fairly smooth.

I shoot them all fairly well, they carry nicely IWB, look nice, and always go bang!

I like them all, especially since they never surprise me when they go off!
