Shield IWB holster?

The N82 Tactical Pro is the way to go. I've been carrying my 9mm Shield one for 6 months and it is probably the most comfortable one you'll ever find for IWB.

Thanx again for all the replies. I am still reading them and trying to debate which way to go. I wish there was a store where I could try a few of these out. I'm pretty sure I don't want all Kydex just for the fact I don't want any part of the gun against my skin. I would like either leather or neoprene or something as a barrier.

Comfortable & Conforting

Thanks guys. I do have an Allien Gear for my BG 380 and like it but I was thinking about the neoprene model or a different one if a lot of people liked a certain unit.
I've had a few IWB holsters. For comfort and especially if you pack while wearing a T-shirt in hot (Arizona) or humid (Gulf coast) you really should look at the N82 holsters. wwwn82tactical.com
I chose the Professional because I can adjust the cant for two O'clock carry. (Appendix) If you carry at the three or four O'clock
position (hip) then the original would be a fine choice at $39.95,
a bargain for a high quality holster.
Good luck.

I've always had good luck with High Noon's products. Even their economy line of holsters work well.

I recently purchased an IWB holster for my Shield from Mika. It's an exceptionally nice holster and quite a value too.

What material the holster is made from doesn't make a difference to that.

Wether the gun touches you skin depends on either how you carry (An undershirt) or if the holster has a guard between the gun and your skin.

The guard is normally an option given when ordering a holster.

My pick---again---Garrett Industries, Silent Thunder Appendix Carry is hard to beat in my book. I have one for a Sig P938 SAS and also a Sig P239 SAS. Going to order it even before my new Shield 9 arrives. Also, very nice people to work with.

Just food for thought, my PJ holster feels great aainst the skin, the kydex is smooth and doesn't irritate me. I have some leather holsters that do irritate me. Both leather and neoprene can be rough against the skin and irritate it. Some do, some don't. I have leather holsters, a Remora, and all kydex, for the Shield, the most comfortable one I have is the PJ Hoster in kydex. The Remora is comfortable too.

I have a leather holster for my Solo and it is the most uncomfortable I own at the moment. The stitching on the reinforced opening around the slide guard is very irritating, as are the edges of the leather, both at the bottom and the top. The edges are sharp. It is a Talon IWB holster. I may remove the reinforced part of the top by cutting away the stitching. I will also have to bevel the edges to make it usable. I wish PJ Holster made one for the Solo.

The Black Mamba CE from Concealment Solutions looks very promising. I ordered mine last Friday, even before I picked up my Shield, which I took home today.

I should somewhat rephrase what I sa about Kydex. I don't think I'd like an all Kydex holster without any backing. I have an Alien now with leather and like it. Sounds like a lot of you have an all Kydex and like it?

Another vote for the Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 2.0. It's a very comfortable holster!

The Pro Carry HD looks to be a nice holster for the shield. I ordered one on eBay with free shipping.

I tried the Alien Gear, Remora and other IWBs. Didn't like any of them.

The one I do like and use all the time is my Galco King-Tuk. It fits me well in the 1:30 to 2:00 position, cant adjustable, height adjustable, sits secure. I can sit, walk, drive and ride my motorcycle wearing this holster.
