Hey guys, new here. I just got my shield and I want to get more mags. S&W mags are pretty high. I've seen mags for the Shield at lower prices. Anyone purchased the lower priced mags ? Are they reliable? Don't want to waste money if they're no good.

Gun Mag Warehouse and a few other places carry S&W mags. I believe they carry the Shield mags now.
Grab-a-gun also carries them at a pretty competitive price.

If you do a search using Gunwatcher.com you'll probably get a good list of shops and prices.
 
I've gotten some off from ebay. The seller was Nimrods Wares. Something like around $25 a piece.
 
You can find genuine S&W mags for $25 pretty easy if you do a google search. From there it's a matter of find ling the best shipping rate.

FWIW, Pro mags are a little cheaper but don't have a very good reputation for reliability. I would stick with S&W's.
 
Stick with factory magazines. The Shield is a carry gun. Cheap magazines for range toys are one thing, but if you are betting your life on them, don't skimp. But, do as you see fit.
 
gun mag warehouse has been my go to place lately for mags. They have Shield 7-round mags for $21.99 and 8-round mags for $19.99! I just put 4 in my cart and shipping was only $4.99, but I think it's the same if you only buy 1.
 
Just bought 5 , 10 round mags on E-bay for $18.95 each. Bought them for practicing nice having a couple extra rounds. Obviously not good for CC. Big time printing.
