Some of you may remember my S&W Model 624 that I had engraved as a Skeeter Skelton Tribute. It sports Bear Hug birdseye maple Skeeter Skelton style grips and was engraved with 75% American Scroll (including Skeeter's cattle brand) by Michael Gouse.

Well, it got busted out of the safe today and had 100 rounds of .44 Special shot down its barrel! My best friend brought along his Point of View video camera and I filmed a bit of the shooting. Here's the 624 getting all dirty (click the photo below to play the video):

I also put 100 rounds down the barrel of my M&P Professional as well:

All of my guns are shooters, I just clean them really well and they rest up in the safe until it's time to come out and play again!

A couple photos of the "only thing better than a fine firearm is a fine firearm that's filthy dirty from shooting" school of thought:

Fantastic looking revolver and I'm glad you are enjoying shooting it.

You're a pretty good shot, for sure. Just curious - roughly how much does it cost to have a gun engraved like that?

Beautiful gun. Don't you just love the sound of "Planking steel"? Especially all 6 going plank. Good shooting.

Regards
Bill

That is a beautiful revolver.

Would you tell me about the front sight?
Is it original to the gun or a custom job?
I ask because I recently picked up a very nice M28-2 w/ 6" barrel. I am going to have the barrel cut to 5" and am working through what to do with the front sight.
I really like the one on your gun.
