All are good IMO, but I would add the gunfight from "Open Range" to the list and the final battle scene from "Saving Private Ryan".

Shane ending
Open Range (as already mentioned)
Private Ryan Omaha Beach
Lonesome Dove (Gus on the plains alone)

heat definitely qualifies and many of the others too, but the end of the wild bunch has to be at least tied for #1 with heat.

The gunfight in the hotel lobby in 48 hours wasn't half bad, and Travis Bickles rampage in Taxi Driver probably belongs on there somewhere too!

Terminator 2: the gunfight between the police, Ahhnuld, Sarah & John Connor at the Cyberdine plant.

Predator: the assault on the rebel camp by Ahhnuld, Jesse Ventura and the rest of their team.

I agree. IMHO "Tears of the Sun" was a horrible movie...and the final shootout was lousy. Doesn't belong anywhere on any "Top 10" list.

Not big on Hollyweird shootouts. Except for Clint's spaghetti westerns I've seen zero movies on that list.
