SHOT Show 2017?

The last few years have been big whiffs for S&W and the SHOT Show. I've just assumed it's because they were devoting all their resources to winning the new military service pistol contract.

Will we see anything new this year? Anyone going?

Well, as many could predict, S&W lost the military service pistol competition (to Sig, ugh!).

But they still had a few interesting things at the SHOT Show this year.

A Performance Center Model 986... a 7-shot 9mm revolver made to fit into the post-lock Bloodwork line:

Also a Performance Center 642 that appears to have NO LOCK:
