For those who use them, what’s a good timer that won’t break the bank.
I’m looking for one to help me improve but not for any kind of competition. I guess just a basic model if that applies.
Thanks!

Have you looked at phone apps? There are a number of them available. I'm sure at least some of them are free. They may not be as good as a dedicated shot timer unit, like PACT, but for your purposes they may be enough, at least to start out without spending a lot of money on a timer right away. I used one of the free ones, can't remember which one, but I only used it when practicing dry fire drills. It worked pretty well. If I can figure out which one I used, I'll update this post.

I forgot about the phone apps, thanks. It will be mainly for dry fire for now.

Dave, thanks. I saw that also and it seems to be the popular lower priced one. It would work for me with live fire also.

I've had this for over 20 years. Money well spent!

I have owned a Pocket Pro ll for years, it is a good one. I have tried the phone apps and they may be ok for dry fire but not loud enough for me doing live fire with plugs and muffs on.
