Looking for someone to reblue an old nickel steel Winchester Model 12 20 gauge shotgun. I have contacted Fogle's Gunsmithing in Ohio as a starting point. Has anyone had work done by them?? Any other recommendations?? Thanks!

Contact Mid West Gun-works in Pevely MO. They have done two long guns for me and their work has been absolutely impeccable and their prices are reasonable too. Their turn around time was also not bad - about 6 or 7 weeks IIRC.

You might try Nuline also. Years ago I had Simmons do a M-12, I was thinking of having a M-12 12 gauge I have done and checked Simmons pricing. I cold blued it.....

When I lived in the STL area I heard of MWG but di not use them.

A guy that did a few things for me was Frank at F&D Guns in the STL area. Nice job, I prepped the guns and did other things for him to cut my costs. Friendship is an added value. You might see how much you could save by sanding and or prepping parts yourself.

I used to use Jim Weigand in Indiana when I needed hot bluing done. Excellent work.
I sent all my stuff in already polished. But I saw a lot of his work that he did the polishing & bluing on and it was excellent.

I will say that I haven't used him in several years now so things may have changed at his shop.
