Greetings:
I had a chance to fire a .500 last year. I LOVED it, but I have always been a fan of big loud Smiths, so I wasn't surprised by the new found love.
I told my wife, "I am going to buy one of those"
Now, I still very much want one, and I want to handload for it. (which I currently do for a number of calibers)
I guess I had some general questions:
1. I have not fired the .460 Should I be considering one? Lot of different rounds could be put through it, but still, I'm drawn to the bigger .500
2. any of you .500 owners ever say "what the heck did I buy this thing for?"
3. Any general advice you'd give to a buyer getting ready to hit the market?
Thanks,
Rich
