Shoulder holster for women?

Can someone recommend a good shoulder holster for a woman? My wife is petite (size 3/4), RH'd and wants a shoulder holster for her S&W 351PD. One with an off-side tie-down W/O speedloader pouches would be great (as HKS so far sees 'no need' to make speedloaders for the 351PD....).

If you have a lot of money to spend, I'd suggest a Andrew's Leather Monarch Rig. Sam Andrew is a good guy and can customize one to your needs, but they are on the pricey side.

Years ago I had a friend who had the same problem. I took her to a leather shop in a hippy/arts/crafts part of town and had one made to fit for her. I remember it fit like a glove and was cheaper than store bought.
Just a thought.

Nowdays, I would be in fear going to the hippy/arts/crafts part of town and even mentioning guns!

You might want to have her contact Michael de Bethencourt and find out what shoulder holsters the women students are showing up with. He mentions in his latest blog that many of them show up using shoulder holsters.

Have you looked at Ken Null's "City Slicker" shoulder holster? This holster is all plastic and carries the piece inverted. It should conceal well for ladies, but I wonder if the draw might pose a problem. As a plus, Mr. Null usually answers the phone listed on his website, and I find him very professional and easy to talk to:

IIRC, that holster utilizes 'pull-thru' snaps. I'm not so sure those would be 'finish friendly'.

Uh, no. The piece hangs off of its trigger guard on a small "shelf" made of part of the holster body. The entire holster body is made of a piece of white polymer plastic. There is one button that holds the holster together at the trigger guard and keeps the piece from falling out of the holster. To draw, you grab the butt of the revolver and twist it slightly in a clockwise direction. This pops the snap apart and allows you to roll the piece off of the shelf the trigger guard was lying on. I've never noticed any scratches or marks on my revolvers from carrying them in the Null polymer shoulder holsters.

OK. Thanks. I'll take a peek at it. I REALLY would like to find one of the Uncle Mike's (with off-side tie down only) or the older Sarariland (made of elk suede).
