Just watched a "B" movie (at best) called "Twelve Hours to Kill". In it, one of the lead characters, a cop, has a shoulder holster for his revolver. The revolver was seen only in dim lighting, so I don't have a good ID on it, but I'm thinking it was a S&W Model 10 or similar with 4" barrel. In close-ups of it in the holster, I think the grip looked more substantial than the usual Model 10 ones I have seen.
The movie was made in 1960.
While I wasn't thrilled by the right-side support strap, I noted the holster was nicely boned for the revolver, making a compact fit.
Anybody know what it was , or have an idea? It would have been a late-'50s design.
