This is a great old thread.

Here is my 1905 3rd change M&P from about 1911, the front sight was pinned with a wide blade and the rear sight channel was widened for it. I believe it was a factory order because it's all factory bright blue. There is very little cylinder ring and it's unfired, the best I can tell:

And here is a 1902 model 1st change, M&P, shipped about 1904. Square butt, 5" barrel and target model. It's had some use & someone carved an L ln the numbered stocks. But it's as tight as a the day it shipped:

So this just happened today. Added a 3rd Model of 1905, 4th Change snubby. Was being sold as a Model 10, but knew better than that.

Lots of great guns here in this thread. Think it's great to drag some of the good ones and bring them back to light.

Man, those are just the best. What a trio.

1915 M&P 3rd Change. This one has a couple of "handling marks" and very minor freckling on the side plate, but appears to be unfired.

ca. 1926 M&P Target. Went back to the factory for a refinish May 1953. I've posted this one in another thread recently, but have since tracked down the correct grips, shown below.

HE 1899.
Was my Great-Grandfather's revolver.
No caliber marking (It's .38 Special).
Delivered Jan 5, 1900.
SN 7xx.
Dad put the target grips seen in the photo on it sometime in the 50s.

M&P from 1948. All original except the barrel, but the work was very well done. The long barrel is like a laser.

Edit: I have a neat TylerT on it now.
