A friend of mine gave me a box of these 125 grain Sierra Pro Hunter bullets. the box is marked for 30-30 Winchester.

Any forum members used these? Looks like a charge of H335 might be a good powder.

They will be fired in a 1973 M94 Winchester.

I use those in my .300 Savage. Pro hunters are a little soft, so you can't push them very fast, but are consistently the most accurate of any bullet I've ever used. I use them in all of my non-magnum calibers.

At 30-30 velocities, they should work well for you.

They are a popular bullet for 30-30 TC Contender handguns as they offer a little speed and expansion advantage in shorter barrels over the 150 & 170's usually used.

I have used 'em in my Contender and even in the 94 Rifle. Gets a bit too much velocity in the long bbl. Good on coons and even coyotes up to about 150 yds...BTW accurate in both but Sierras usually are.

Those Sierra bullets are a quality bullet that can work for vermin or medium size deer
in any .30 cal, rifle and with a low or high fps loading, they can be quite accurate.

Don't waste them.
