SIG P229 Stainless Recoil Springs

Does anyone know a source for factory weight stainless steel recoil springs for SIG P229s? I've got folks working in a high-salt environment that corrodes carbon steel springs practically overnight. Coated springs that can withstand sea environments long term would also work

Try talking with Wolff Spring Co. as they make alot of different springs for various Sig models.

Another recommendation for Wolff Gunsprings. When I was carrying a 229 DAK, I utilized their recoil and magazine springs. They look to be stainless, but I suggest that you contact them directly to be certain.

They are great to deal with and offer a LE/MIL discount.

As an aside, they have so many variations, be certain that you carefully order for the specific model and application you need. Speaking directly with them assures this and they are very helpful.
