I picked up a 9mm Sig P320 Carry (3.9" barrel, 17+1 rounds in the grip). I'll just say that I love it, and the two (2) videos below by Hickok45 and FxHummel do a great job of explaining why I love it (even though they use the Compact model and not the Carry model).

Anyways, so far I have put 115 grain FMJ and 124 grain +p HPs (specifically, HSTs) through it. When I shot the 124 grain +p HPs, my groups were usually half the size than with the 115 grain FMJs. Does anyone have any similar experience with a few grain difference in ammo weight but greater accuracy? When I use up the rest of my bulk 115 grain 9mm ammo, I think I'm going to order bulk 124 grain FMJs.

I wish I could help you. I have a p320 carry but in 40sw for CC . It see a very tight grouping pistol. Check out brain enos forum in the sig section. Not many guys shoot 115gr there . 124 to147 mostly and shoot competition . A few of the guys are good enough to find they can get 2" groups at 25 yards. We have a few 9mm pistols and carry ammo is 124gr +P speer boned , aka gold dot by underwood ammo . load 125gr swc for practice .

I just ordered 50 rounds of Underwood Ammo's 124 grain +p bonded HP ammo. Their ammo is really good stuff.

I don't want to give the impression my groups with the 115 grains are bad, it's just the 124 grain +p HPs I shot were real laser beams, accuracy wise.

Underwood ammo has a deal on holidays where orders have no shipping charge . There was a minimum order of 150 bucks to get that. I tend to buy once a year from them and cover the needs for 6 family members for carry ammo. Georgia Arms is another good one .

Good shooting with your new sig

That very well could be. Reading around at Brian Enos forum it looks like the 320 in general is one really accurate handguns but you don't read much about 115gr bullets . I do wish a 9mm conversion barrel was available rather than a costlier "Kit" .

I just picked up a P320 Carry in .357 Sig caliber. I don't want to own any .40s as they really don't offer much over the .45 except a couple more rounds, and no longer carry 9mm as its performance has historically been spotty. No, I'm not starting (and please don't start) a caliber war- we carry what we're comfortable carrying and 9mm doesn't make my comfort level, especially after reading about cops dumping entire magazines of police 9mm into a pit-bull and it's still fighting.

With all that out of the way, I like what I've read on the .357 Sig, especially in the loadings by Georgia Arms (125gr Speer @ 1400fps) and Underwood (125gr Speer @ 1450fps). I like those numbers better than Federal's or Winchester's 1350fps with the same bullet.

I'm waiting on my leather from Tucker for the gun and the magazines and then it'll enter the carry rotation.

EDIT to add: Dry fire that thing....a lot. The trigger smooths a bit after a hundred or so pulls.

mainsail Underwood ammo's 135gr 40sw speer gold dot will chronograph 1400fps + But I like the 155gr 1308fps . Chrono those Georgia arms loads . They tend to run a little under there rating most times . Underwood averages the other way and most loads run a little faster . I have shoot a lot of underwood over the years and still have some of there hunting/ rifle ammo .

Underwoods ammo's faster 125gr 1450+fps 357sig the power factor is 181 with a energy of 583.5 . Might want to try some ??
There 40sw 135gr PF is 189 energy of 587.5
There 40sw 155gr PF is 201 energy of 581.5

Now how greats the 357 sig ? hehehe

Bottom line is NONE of these cartidges is all that when it comes to one shot stops.

Read this story if you think any one or two shots of any typical defensive cartridge is enough .
Why one cop carries 145 rounds of ammo on the job

I do like the high energy of the 357sig and 40sw for a 185 and 200gr +P 45 from underwood but the 155gr expands to a greater width over the 125gr or 135 speer . I reload and a straight case is easier to reload . If I had seen a 9mm version I might have bought it . Heck I carried a little cm9 for years as a pocket pistol at work . If only there was a 20 oz pistol with the power of a 44mag and recoil of a 380 ??
