I have an M&P 15 that shoots way to the left.

With the carry handle sight installed the aperature is all the way to the right to keep it just barely centered at 100yards.

I have heard loose barrel, bent barrel and loose something else.

anyone have any suggestions. This just is not acceptable.

How can i get it taken care of?

Sorry you are having problems, what model of M&P15 do you have, I am guessing its Sku # 811000. It looks like the carry handle is removable, if you know someone with an after market rear sight mount that and see how it shoots, if zeros ok that means it's probably the rear sight, if not something more serious. Either way S&W should make it right. My MOE zeroed great with very little adjustment

The barrel may be misaligned, or the front sight may be canted on the barrel. Take it to a gun smith and let them see if they can fix it.

Thank you. I am having a guy look at it and if he doesn't have a quick cheap fix I will send it back.

Make sure the removable carrying handle is seated properly. That is the most common cause of that type of over correction. I'm not trying to be a smart guy but I've seen it done since the Army has issued us M4's. I had my MOE dialed in real tight in 9 rounds. It's possible something more serious is wrong but S&W's quality control should have picked that up during it's initial test fire before letting it out the door.

sight in M&P

Choppercop, let us know if and how you fix the problem. I posted a problem with my S&W M&P 15 gas piston. 3 separate people tried to shoot my new rifle (have iron sights) and could not zero the rounds in. The gun continues to shoot in the same spot, 1.5 ft low. Planning to call S&W tomorrow for suggestions.
