I manufacture and sell this combination replacement rear sight, red dot mounting platform. Sight Mounts primary function is simply as a replacement rear sight, but it is so much more. It is also 6 lugs of Mil Spec Picatinny rail which allows installation of an optic such as an RMR or FF III in seconds. It is rock solid, and returns your optic to zero every time. When used as an open sight it is a typical, familiar 2 dot rear sight. In fact it has been ruled a conventional rear sight by the IDPA.
