Hey guys,

I just got my sightmark reflex sight yesterday. Took it out into the back yard to see how the sight looks in the sunlight. It is almost completely invisible. Really not too surprising considering I got it for $25. I think itll be great for indoor ranges, or if you have a cover over your outdoor range.

I think theres been some confusion on whether or not you can see these cheap reflex sights in direct sunlight, and my answer would be that you cannot.

I will say that the sharpness of the sights is very nice and super high resolution. It was easy to co-witness, and the 4 choices of sights are nice as well. Also, the sight comes with a rubber cover to protect it when not in use.

Overall, its a great deal for 25 bucks, just be aware that if you are going to shoot in direct sunlight that the sight will be barely visible if not completely invisible!

I think I may start looking for some facogs... :)

Hey guys, range report for the sight. I just went to the range and shot about 300 trouble free rounds through the 15-22. The sight was a ton of fun to use and it held true pretty well. It looked like it may have slid slightly to the right by the end of 300 rounds, but that was with me shooting like a maniac.

Also, this sight is very nice when you turn it off you can easily shoot through your iron sights as well.

I just got one of these for my 22/45 Ruger and it seems a very decent deal for the money. The Sightmark name on the side of mine rubbed off just by mounting it. I haven't shot it yet tho.

But in your range report you didn't mention if the brightness was enough to be seen in the daylight?

BTW mine i ordered went up in price.
Subtotal of Items: $27.15
Shipping & Handling: $7.99
Total for this Order: $35.14

I 've heard both (it works and it doesn't) but for me, my sightmark does work in daylight if you crank it up to 7. And the lettering on the side has'nt rubbed off at all. Maybe i got a different "version" I paid 50$.

Ill have to take mine out of a brite day, Its been raining the last few days. But yeh, My markings wore off the side with just my own fingers and i licked my thumb and finished wiping it completely off.
It did carry a SightMark sticker underneath it tho. And it seems of good quality and very bright and clear reticles.
For $37 shipped total im very happy, It could have been much worse.

With China cranking out so many copy's and fakes fo any/everything it hard to tell whats real or not anymore. Even the cheap items are getting copied.

I still have a 30mm Tasco red dot i bought for emergences since my bad eyes cant see crap with iron sights anymore.
