I am thinking of getting this scope...
and was wondering if anyone has used one on the 15-22. Price is $99, and mostly good amazon reviews. Will this give me absolute co-witness with my magpul front flip up sight? Also, some reviews say battery life sucks. Anyway any comments would be appreciated.

Not a scope, it is a red dot sight.

Yes, it will give you co-witness.

I've got one of these we aren't using if you want it. Got it from Amazon too, would let it go for $80 shipped. My wife wanted a green dot like mine for her 10/22 so it isn't being used. In the original box and with extra batteries.

I own 2 of the TruGlo red dots and one is on my 15-22. True co-witness. A little less expensive than the Sightmark

I own one and it's not a bad little sight. The different reticles are pretty crisp and, despite some negative reviews, I find the brightness to be adequate even on sunny days. I am actually looking to sell it though as I want something with a bit more battery life.

Other than battery life, the main reason I'm getting rid of it is that I find the large reticles cover the target too much and it's hard to make accurate shots. The single dot has a bit of blur to it which bothers me (the reason I don't use it). With battery life and obtrusive reticles I figured I would just upgrade to the Vortex Strikefire II.

Edit: Battery life for the Ultra Shot is approx. 25 hrs. Just so you are aware.
