Hey guys, I recently bought a sigma sw40ve and I LOVE it! Just wanting to add a few things such as a grip. If you guys could help me find some grips that fit the .40 it would be a huge help. A lot of local gun stores didn't have any that fit :( please post some links to where i can find grips that will fit the sw40ve frame. THANKS GUYS!!!

I'm pretty sure Hogue makes a slip-over rubber grip that you will have to trim when you get it on. I have such a grip and if I recall the box label just said S&W Sigma and didn't specify caliber. I had a heck of a time slipping on and would suggest warming it up with a lo temp hair dryer. I lucked out at a local gun shop in finding mine. I'd take a photo of mine, but I don't want to wake the dog up this early. I also have a .40.

I guess my question would be how much you all like the slip on rubber grips. I've got a sigma .40 and really like the way it feels in my hands. I originally thought about putting these grips on it, but I'm not sure that I'll like it. I guess +/- $20 isn't to much to spend even if I find that I don't like them. Either way, would you suggest the grips based on feel/looks/or what?

I don't think many Sigma owners will add slip-on grips based on the LOOKS. If looks were a primary concern, I probably would not even own a Sigma. However, if the standard grip does not fit or feel "right" to you, a slip-on grip may be the solution. I use one an another "small" 9mm and it helps my comfort and grip alot. I do not feel I need one on the Sigma-- but I may try one: perhaps the "good" grip feel I have now can get better . . .

I was having a control problem with my .40 slipping around and also have a large hand. I felt the same way about the cost not being that much and decided to try it and it felt good when I shot it. If I ever get rid of it the new owner can let it on or take it off.

I put a set of these on my Springfield XD45 I used to own. They made a world of difference. This is the manufacturer website but you can google to find dealers. They are higher than the ones others have listed but I truly believe you will like them better.

I had a Hogue grip on it at first and just cut it off.
They look very interesting. Since I have a .40 GVE the green camo pattern is just the ticket. I'll have to give them a try.

Put the Pachmayr #05166 on my 9VE,works great, feels great and fingergrooves are a big improvement. My Sigma shooting friends liked them also. I got them from Midwest Tactical for $14.35 shipping included last Dec.

Any of you grip advocates have small hands? I might be interested, but I've got small hands (I wear small/medium gloves)
