A friend asked me what kind of gun he should buy for home and personal defense. Finances were a concern to him and so was the quality of firearm.
I suggested a Sigma 9VE. Told him Academy had them on sale and he wound up getting one I believe at a gun show for 7 bucks less.....but with the entrance fee to the show he only saved a buck.
He attended my CHL course.. I did it one on one for him. He does not shoot much and was a bit apprehensive about the gun, the trigger etc.
He only shot 248/250....Not bad for a guy who does not shoot much and thought the trigger was a bit stiff. I told him it is a safe gun with little chance of an accidential discharge and the trigger rap was just that a bad rap because it can be shot well and accurately.
He is now on his way to get his CHL issued., He loves his Sigma and was happy I suggested it.
I told him to not spread it around how fine a gun it was or the price would surely go up and up. Its the best value for any gun I have ever come across. Long live Sigmas
