Long time, no posts...

(Not too much shooting of my 15-22 either lately...)

Sorry if this has been posted before, but for those who struggle with running a cleaning rod or weed-whacker line through their bore to clean their 15-22, this little device works really slick.

It's the AR15 Cleaning Link from Sinclair Int'l (Sinclair AR-15 Rod Guide and Link Kit - Sinclair Intl and it works great on our 15-22s.

Here's a couple of pix of it:

As you can see, with the link in place (mine required maybe 15 strokes with a smooth file to get a smooth fit), it is easy to keep the upper & lower connected, but gain access to the bore for cleaning. All in all, a neat little gadget -- and I love gadgets!

Tight groups.

<Shrugs> I just seperate the upper and lower completely. Makes it a lot easier to clean for me.

i see no advantage to this...and it might possibly void the warranty--why not just seperate the upper?

I don't own one, but it does enable for setting the rifle in a cleaning stand or on a magazine vise block for bore access without the upper flopping up and down. I see the utility.

looks like something I could put together from my kids Lego bin. An interesting idea but I could find a better way to spend 15 bucks (more ammo comes to mind)

I just pull a boresnake throught mine onces every about 5,000 rounds. Just pull the upper off all the way and hold it in your hand.
