I purchased a threaded adapter from the local hardware it had a 10-32 thread in it I drilled a hole in the thick part of the lower receiver threaded in the adapter with a allen wrench and used POR15 epoxy putty to lock it all together.I have used that putty on a Bennelli M1Super 90 to shorten the length of pull . I used that particular threaded adapter because I had a ACE Stock from another project and used the sling swivel from it pictures are posted on camouflaging the MP22. I am waiting on the paint to fully cure and I am going to epoxy the swivel to the adapter with some Permatex general clear epoxy. I called S&W to put the new MagPul adapter in it and they told me they were not doing that so I decided to do my own.

single point sling

Do you have any photos? I did not realize that I could not use standard AR access for single point sling attachment. Amy one know of anyone making it without having to change stocks. Thank You.

Ever transitioned to your pistol and tried to run -- heck even walk! -- with a single point slung rifle? Didn't think so! ;)

All slings suck. Single point slings really suck. Sure they look cool when striking poses for class photos or just standing on the range...

Maybe some of want it for that.

Kinda like "needing" multiple optics and all the other stuff we accessorize with

I "NEED" the single point since I have night vision scope, reg scope, triple red dot optics, red, green, infrared, and microwave lasers, spare beta-mag,bipod,bayo, 360 degree rotating vertical forend grip, 2 lights- 800 lumen and 2000 lumen, spare 12 volt battery, light saber, PLUS--- a lot of other important stuff!!!! I need to spread the weight over my back!!! Your right they are nice for photos and remembering where your weapon is, but I have proven I can tangle up ANY sling-1,2,3 point

The single point sling adapter from Cabela's works just fine. Slip it over the tube and tighten the screw. I put in on backward so the portion that would go over the buffer nut on an AR is facing rearward. Works great for single point or dual point attachment.

If you know how to properly wear a sling, they come in handy. I use two point (rail and buffer tube attatchment) with sling starting under forward arm and then over, works flawless when switching to pistol, and back to rifle. Doesn't bounce, sag, or slide around. When running or jumping it sticks to you like it's a molle attatchment. And your welcome vipermd. Just note that the attatchment needs to slide on reversed because of the 15-22 lacking the nut.
