I have had problems with rounds working g tge way out of 9mm single stack magazines such as kahr k9 often and smith & wesson 3913 908 magazines. When you remove the 3912 908 mags you find the rounds falling out or half slid out of mGs lips.

Do all single stack 9mm rounds do this because the rounds are tapered?

CN anything be done and does magazine spring age come into play as I h e found. New magazines to not be free of thks.

Finally are the staggered shield 9mm magazines or glock 43. 6 rounds free of these issues.

I have never had a problem with double stack 9mm or full sized or handguns like star bm or B with larger single stack 9mm magazines

Pretty much all single-stack magazines, except .40 qnd .45 caliber, do this. It has nothing to do with tapered cartridges Friction between the two top cartridges causes the second round to be dragged forward so it interefere with the feed ramp so it is pulled from the magazine when it it withdrawn from the gun. The only thing hat can be done is to fire the magazine empty nefore trying to remove it.

I've noticed this "quirk" particularly on my P9, but I hesitate to call it a "problem" since even when going hot and heavy with the P9 in a match, changing mags, everything functions as needed.

Only when "playing" with removing partial mags at the bench and putting them back in do I even notice. In a drill or scenario, that's just not how I handle the gun. I shoot to slide lock, drop the mag, and reload.

Kahr Bizarre

I've noticed the same thing on my Kahr P9 and T9. However, if you remove the magazine and reset the first round to what we consider the "proper" position, this is likely to cause a nosedive stoppage. That the next round to feed advances a bit on its own seems to insure more reliable feeding.

I've both a Sig P6 and a P239 in 40S&W and neither handgun exhibits the problems you refer too. And then they decide to stop making the P239. Frank
