I went scouring the area today for some standard velocity .22lr toady asi'm down to less than a brick for my rifle. I found plenty of HV stuff but little if any standard 1050 fps stuff.
I did stumble across 3 bricks of small pistol primers at the Gander Mountain in Hilliard, and I was in dire need because I've been limiting my practice with my 14-4 they were limiting folks to only two boxes but I basically got on my knees and begged
and got 5 boxs of Federal Match Small Pistol Primers. Thats enough for 3-4 weeks if I ration it properly.
As a side note I hit the gun show and quite a few other places and found plenty of ammo, most at prices I was not willing to pay. Wally World and Miejer had plenty of CCI Blazer, Remington Hyper Velocity and Winchester Wildcat. There was also lots of large caliber rifle ammo in .270 .308 .30-06 .30-30, .243, and They had almost no pistol cartridges.
Well I'm off to load up 500 .38 wadcutters.
