as you know, we in germany have one of the strictest and silliest gun-laws in the free world.

But it is not strict enough, to prevent freaks going out and shooting some kids in schools, like in winnenden. Of course no law can prevent such things. But our politicians together with a scratch-built "brady-bunch in small", are planning to make the law even stricter.

one of the many silly ideas is to make it mandatory to secure guns with biometrical locking devices, even if they are stored in big fat safes.

Here you can see, how easily it can be removed out of a gun:

(german only)

Abstract:
German gun owners shall be forced to use the "Armatix" locking device. first they targeted the owners of guns, now they try to make the crap mandatory for all gun owners (no, not all, only the dumb ones, who own their guns legally).
Interesting is the relationship between the Armatix company, german politicians and german state-owned banks!!!

A german gun-magazine cracked the crap twice. Armatix engaged their lawyers to prevent an open market. now the german tv-magazine "Frontal21" showed how easy it is to get the crap out of the gun at the best time in the evening, millions of citizens saw it.
They saw how the "locking device" was removed within seconds with a simple grinding machine without any scratch to the gun.

Maybe some german politicians will not only lose their credibility but also a little bit of money.

But the german gun owners will save a lot of money, because the monopoly Armatix has would cost hundreds of euros per gun.

BTW.
Armatix is also targeting the US-market.
Be aware.
Get your grinder and show lour local politicians, what this device is worth .

Shalom, Frank from the "banana republic of germany".

Good news for German gun owners; at least until the next "bright idea". And thanks for the heads-up on the targeting of US markets. Forewarned is forearmed.

Ahh Germany. The beer, the women

I have fond memories of being stationed there. Unfortuatly, as in all european countries its citizens are subjects and have only the rights granted to them by the government. Looks like were headed that way too.

Frank;
I am glad that you have dodged another attempt at your right to self-protection and sport. As you know, we have many small companies here like Armatix trying similar stunts. They approach one of our great legislative bodies at some level from city to national with unproven, impractical, usually asinine ideas hoping that the government will make their unique system mandatory and that they will become rich. Actually some of them have been very close to being successful.
The Internal Lock in our new S&W Revolvers was the result of just such a half baked idea.

Frank we feel your pain. Sorry to see it's getting even worse than it already is in Germany.

The dumb-ass sheep in this country don't realize how well we have it made and continually vote more and more socialist politicians into office. It's amazing how many people in this country will willingly go running to these law makers with their arms outstretched inviting more chains to be placed on them to restrict them and other law abiding citizens from doing what many brave men and women have fought and died for which is to live a free life without the heavy hand of government to guide their every move. They willingly give up their freedoms as if that will control what the criminals do.
