smith and wesson 1911 spring cap

Hello im new to the forum, just purchased my first 1911. Its a full size stainless model 108282. For some reason im wanting to change the spring cap to a flush one, after looking i realize i will have to know the right one to get, lol. I think i would want a stainless checkered one. I havnt even shot this one yet, will be doing that this weekend. Picked it up used.I have a few more smiths, model 19, 3913. They have been great shooters for years. looking forward to reading and learning about smith and wesson.
