Smith and Wesson 60-18

Twenty or so years ago I bought a Model 63 22LR with a five inch barrel. For whatever reason I shoot that better and more accurately than almost any handgun I own. Now I'm kinda jonesing for a 60-18. It is also a J-frame with a five inch barrel only in 357 caliber.

I'm looking for first hand experience, anecdotes reasons not to buy or reasons to buy. I would even be appreciative of leads on said S&W 60-18.

I picked up a 60-18, new in box just a few months ago. I saw it and it was whispering, “take me home.” LOL I had no need for it but the 60 still came home w me. It’s kind of a oddball and I like oddball stuff.

As for shooting it. It’s as accurate as as my 6” 686. The 60 balances nice and the grips fit my hand great. That said, I would pick one up if you come across one.

GB has a couple with box. 900 and 1200. I paid 700 just a few months ago.

Thanks for the input. If the 60 balances and fits me as well as my 63 does I believe it will be a winner.
