I just purchased a brand new 627 Performance Center and the Grips Panels on each side are completely different colors. Is that how they come? See Photos. Thanks

I like the one in the pic on the left better. If you call s&w they might help or you can buy some aftermarket grips that most likely would not come that far off in color. Did you buy the gun in person or from the internet?

WELCOME TO THE FORUM, BUSHMASTERGUY. THOSE PANELS SHOULD MATCH. OBVIOUSLY, SOMEONE AT S&W SLAPPED A WRONG STOCK ON YOUR REVOLVER. WITH THE KIND OF MONEY YOU SPENT ON THAT GUN, THAT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I WOULD CALL S&W, ASK FOR A NEW SET OF STOCKS, AND A SHIPPING LABEL…….

I bought it at a FFL via Internet. The gun was definetely brand new. But the contrast in grip panels threw me off.

Thank you! I will follow your advice and I agree! Very expensive gun to get two contrasting grip colors.

Call S&W Customer Service 800.331.0852. Tell them the problem and ask to email them the pics while you are on the phone. They will look at them and agree and send you new grips. They will provide you with a return label for the original ones. No questions asked.

Hey that is not so bad.

No one can tell if it is holstered

With mine everyone sees it

All kidding aside, Someone just grabbed two different parts. We are all just human, It happens.

S&W will send you a replacement set. Just give them a call.

Mine are actually factory rejects. They were salvaged from the dumpster at S&W. I just happen to like them

I sent them back today. Now my Revolver has no grips. I hope they do not take too long to send the replacements. They did not volunteer to pay for my return shipping so I sent the grips only.

Received the grips back Friday. Fast service. Not having accuracy issues. Interesting experience with such and expensive firearm!

Thanks for all the replies
