Smith and Wesson Model 3000 and 1000P

Sir:
I have heard that the S&W Model 3000 is a Japanese copy
of the Remington Model 870 that was later adopted by
Mossberg; so will the Remington 870 factory magazine
extension fit this gun of must I use an after-market extension
such as Choate or TacStar? Thanks in advance for any information that anyone can provide me!

I don't think any Remington accessories will fit a S&W shotgun. I am certain the magazine extension will not fit because I have tried that. Choate does not make an extension for the S&W shotguns--at least that is what they told me on the phone. I may have a mag extension to sell if you are interested.
