Gentlemen, I have found some parts for S&W revolvers. Several target(N) hammers, never installed, several sights(plain, red insert(not a ramp) & gold bead (McGivern I think). All are new & never installed. Many pins & a set of target and a set of magna stocks also for an N frame (non diamond). The sights do not have the pin holes drilled, is that the way the parts came? Will all you guys please(gunsmiths & S&W experts) give me an idea of the value that should be placed on these items as I am looking to purchase them after the owner is sure he has found all the S&W parts he has. Many thanks,

For current market prices on those S&W items, see the Brownell's catalog or look them up on the S&W website.

Check Numrich Arms site. Probably a more extensive listing than Smith's site since selling parts is all they do.

John & Wayne, appreciate your suggesting those locations where I might gain some information concerning the above mentioned parts and as per your suggestions I have visited the S&W, Gun Parts & Brownells webb sights but am unable to find anything I can identify as being the same item as far as the "Sights" this gentleman has and no one addressed the question about them being non pre-drilled for the pin. That is not the way the factory sent them out, is it? I have learned a ballpark figure for the "N" Frame Target Hammers and the Stocks but the sights and pins must be fairly old, say 40 years. Are there any out there who might have an idea? Please! Thanks once again,

every front sight I have ever ordered comes the way you described, I have always had to drill mine on a drill press...I guess they do this incase the hole on the frame was buggered up and you had to go up a size....even the ashley big dot (tritium) sights are not drilled.

RightWinger, you came through like a champ and I thank you for that response. Are you or any others in a position to advise if there are different costs for the three options in the original post? I really am interested in purchasing these parts and I will be determined to offer the fair price. Hopefully, there are more to be found and I will surely seek guidance from the same experts. Many thanks!
