Smith & Wesson 19-3

Buongiorno a tutti amici del forum
Ho da poco comprato una bella 19-3 perfetta in ogni sua parte.
Al poligono sparo solo con il calibro 38 WC o con il calibro 357 WC e devo dire che con entrambi i calibri il revolver e' veramente preciso.
Il mio dubbio e' questo: il mio armiere di fiducia mi ha detto che con questa arma posso solo sparare, come massimo, il cal. 357 WC mentre e' rischioso sparare il 357 fmj o commerciale perche' si potrebbero gonfiare le camere di scoppio ma e' possibile questo? Non e' la prima volta che sento questa cosa e non vorrei che ci fosse veramente qualche cosa di vero. Voi che mi dite?

First of all Welcome to the Forum Vittorio! The best I can translate from your post is the age old question in a S&W K frame revolver about .357's causing damage to the gun. The answer is that it is OK to shoot magnums, but not a steady diet of .357's.

Smith made the L Frame for just that reason. My advise, for what it's worth, is at the range stay with 38 special for target shooting. If you carry it or use for home defense, keep the 357's chambered for that reason.

It will still go BANG when you need it too. You have some sweet looking guns there!

Now, I've never seen grips like that before!! I love my Model 14's!! I have a 14-3 6" and a 14-4 6" both with boxes and papers. I'll never sell them!!

It's inconvenient but I'm typing a reply and translating it with Bing Translator....Seams to be working for the most part.
