Was looking at used pistols today and came across a S&W semiauto I personally was unaware of, the 908. Beautiful gun, black finish and sort of streamlined. Hoffman's, here in CT., wants $360 for it. Anyone familiar with this model? Not that I haven't expended this years gun money allocation.

Nice streamlined, economy model compact 9mm. You won't be disappointed.

I purchased a 908S in July. I have fire 2100 rounds of all kinds and this pistol is flawless. I have added Hogue grips and this will be my ccw carry. It is a real sleeper. If you read through the forum there are no negatives. It is similar to the 3913. I would not let it go, you will not be disappointed.

I saw a used one in a metro Atlanta, Ga shop for $250.00 last week. It had carry wear, one mag and no box, but even with shipping and FFL fees will be less than the one you have found.

Email me if you want the shop #.

I just got one. It uses the same mags as the 3913 but just FYI, it does not fit the same holster as the 3913. That lesson cost me.

+1 on similar to the 3913. I purchased a like new 908 months ago. It has a great feel. I do not think that you will ever regret the purchase. Although, I will say that I paid less. However, gun prices vary from state to state; market to market. I am of the opinion that if you like the gun and are happy with the price, go for it and don't look back.
