All knives have never been used, carried or sharpened. They are about 8 5/8" open and the blades are 3 3/8 long and the handles are 5 1/8" long. All have different serial numbers and all have Smith&Wesson U.S.A. on the pocket clips. The blades are satin finish and I do not know the blade material or steel. Handles are aluminum and have a lock at the bottom to prevent accidental firing. I do not have any boxes for these just the knives themselves.
I know there is contrversy about these knives being made in U.S.A. or Asia but I do not know for sure.
Additional Information: The 2 remaining knives are now for sale on another forum.
This is the S&W 1600 Extractor and was the origional OTF (out the front) Automatic offering from Smith&Weasson. This knife was discontinued about 10 years ago and has been impossible to find. Keep in mind that this Auto was S&W only OTF Auto and one of the last original auto's S&W produced.
The production count on these 1600 Extractor's was very low due to S&W discontinuing their Automatic line very shortly after this one was introduced.
The 440C Stainless Steel blade features a double edge for twice the cutting ability and the slim lines of the 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum handle fit well in just about any hand.
The Smith&Wesson 1600 Extractor also incorporates a safety lock to keep the knife from discharging unintentionally. This safety works by means of a locking pin that inserts into the charging handle of the knife, preventing it from moving forward.
