Smith& Wesson, Outstanding Customer Service. Update

Since the late 80’s, 800-331-0852 was the S&W LE helpline…I called them about my 6450 Magazines…When loaded mags were removed from the Mag pouch ,the first and sometimes the second round would jump out….They asked me how many I had and overnighted me 6 new in the package mags with Yellow follower and included a pre-paid label to return the black follower mags…They replaced a couple Mags for my 4516-1, slightly different configuration, black followers for the new 4516-1 Mags….

My latest experience….I was due for my annual re-qual and used the M&P Shield .45…Had one Mag not feeding, resulting in slide riding over the top of the Cartridge….Called them and the tech advised it a spring issue and they were temporarily out of Shield springs for the. 7 round mag. He advised He would send me one when they were available…this was last week…. Todays mail had a small package shipped USPS Ground Advantage containing 2 Red top magazine springs…product code3005996. Smith & Wesson has ALWAYS come thru for me and always put a smile on my face…

Update…Today’s mail had another USPS Ground Advantage package from S&W… This one containing 2 Red Followers, part number 3001633….My experience with S&W goes back to 1973, when they had Regional Service Centers and they serviced my 19-3 while I waited….NO One has ever provided the level and quality of service I’ve received from S&W.
