So I got an email from Springfield Armory.

Apparently I won a free Springfield Armory Emissary in their monthy drawing. I wasn't expecting it. I didn't know I was entered. I had no clue until the email. I didn't even know what the pistol looked like. Well after exchanging emails with Springfield Armory, my pistol was picked up at the local gun store. It looks nice but very heavy. It has the heavy barrel in it. My 25 year old son was surprised when I told him. His comment " how do you do that dad?" I don't know. I guess I was blessed. All because I registered my Springfield Armory pistol 5 years ago. Who would have thought. Just thought I would share. You never know. Just thankful and blessed. Now I got to start loading more 45 ammo. BTW it shoots really well and throws the brass in the same spot..

Well done! Every SA pistol I’ve bought I always go to their website and put in the serial number for the warranty, even used ones. Never won anything lol, congrats!
