Anyone know? I havent seen any ads for it yet. Also, what about TURN: Washington's Spies? Any news on it yet?

I just saw an add last night for the new season of TWD. Starts this month.
I read somewhere that TURN was in limbo of sorts. The network is deciding on weather or not to continue with the series. Something to do with some of the actors.
It's a shame too. I really enjoyed the series.

Ok, who was clubbed to death? I say , Daryl. Anyone who rides a motorcycle and uses a cross bow should not have seen season 2.

There is a lot of speculation about this...apparently in the comics (which I haven't read) it was Glen, but given his surviving other near-death scenarios so far, the feeling seems to be that he will remain. Maggie would just be...wrong. I mean, she's pregnant, so that would be just a little TOO heartless. I've read that Norman Reedus (Daryl) is supposed to be in a new show (I don't know) so maybe it will be him. I think it's pretty obvious that it won't be Rick or Carl. Are the remaining characters a little too minor to be it? I mean, human nature being what it is, if it ends up being someone who's not a major character, will most viewers be equally as incensed as they would be if it is a major character? After all this waiting, just to be let down?

I don't know about it not being Rick. Remember him saying that if (Carl) moved, take his other eye out and he would get started on the beating.
That kind of hinted towards Rick.
With this show? Who knows?

While it's true that this show has had a lot of surprises, Rick is the lead, so I don't think it would be him. Plus, Negan said: "Anybody moves, anybody says anything, cut the boy's other eye out and feed it to his father and then we'll start. You can breathe, you can blink, you can cry. Hell, you're all gonna be doing that." [from IMDB]

So, if he plans to feed Carl's eye to Rick, I think that lets them both out of meeting Lucille. Of course, he could start with either after Rick eats Carl's eye, so here we are back to guessing. I still maintain it won't be Rick, mainly because he is the series lead, and who would replace him? I don't see the show going forward if the group is simply assimilated into Negan's group.

I HOPE it isnt in limbo? I really liked that series. Ive got all the seasons on dvd so far. Also, its the longest lasting show of its story time period-next to Daniel Boone-which lasted 6 seasons. I feared something was happening with the show when they executed Major John Andre-and benedict arnold escaped.

I tried stomaching that Ride with Reedus show-but it stinks. Norman needs to stay on TWD, and into making movies.

So, when is The Walking Dead returning?

Way to soon! :(

Im not normally interested in zombie stuff either but, Michael Rooker was the one that got me hooked. When he was killed-I almost quit the series. The one I cant stand-is Fear the Walking Dead. Few good actors/characters, and i cant stand thet drug-addict who always wants to walk with the dead.

Me either...nor am I into horror movies...but I do like TWD. I tried watching "Fear TWD" but just couldn't get into it.

There is a movie with Brad Pitt called "World War Z." It's about a zombie - apocalypse but those suckers move fast as lightning and are hard to kill. Gives me the willies! I like the slower, easier to kill variety on TWD. ;)

I dont like the newer horor flicks like the Jason/halloween and elm street garbage. I like the classics like: The blob (Steven McQueen) THEM, Frankenstein, Dracula, Creature From the black Lagoon-etc-but nothing past that with two exceptions. I did enjoy The Fog and also; The Island-but none of the others. The Island with Michael Caine-that is.

I saw probable 30 seconds of WWZ-didnt care for it.
