Heard Sog has made some changes to their Trident series of assisted opening knives for 2020. They look decent and feature a beefed-up locking system with new frame mounted safety, D-2 steel, glass breaker, lanyard loop, and nitride coated blade which is 3.7 inches. Still offer the partial serrated blade, clip point, and tanto style blades. Read the handle has a metal liner too. Offered now in olive drab and black with red accents. Been satisfied with the Tanto version for a few years on the older model. Gives an M.S.R.P. of $94.

Nice I've had one of their knives as well. It has held up well. I'll keep an eye out for this new model.

I like SOG knives I've got a early Tomcat, Tigershark, Government Recon, and a Flash II that is my EDC.

Thanks for replies guys. Am looking forward to adding this one as and EDC myself. Looks pretty rugged and an upgrade from the Aus-8 steel on my current Tanto. I know Blade Headquarters has em in stock for the $94 price tag. Blade size is adequate for a change.
