LaserMax Guide rod laser sight Model LMS-1911M
This is the internal guide rod laser sight for the Colt 1911 in brushed stainless steel. This sight replaces the stock guide rod and spring inside the barrel housing. The on-off switch is on the slide release. You can leave this sight installed, turn it off and still use the iron sights if you want. I bought this laser sight on the recommendation of a friend that has one on a Glock. He loves it.
I tried it at the range a couple of times and I don’t care for it. It works OK but I like the iron sights better. I don’t like the pulsating red laser light and hardly ever turn it on. I’m just not getting any use out of it.
This sight comes complete as shown in the picture. It has all the parts, the little adjusting tool, the .45 bushing tool and the instruction booklet. Everything is in the original box. This sight lists for $399 plus tax and shipping. Doing a quick search on the internet I find vendors offering it for as low as $266.
If someone here wants to buy it I’ll let it go for $200 shipped to lower 48. I can accept cash, PayPal, Visa or MasterCard.
