SOLDStainless steel S&W 629-1, 3" lightweight barrel, PRE-LOCK, with factory fingergroove combat stocks and used, lined El Paso pancake holster. A very popular short-run "Lew Horton" revolver with desirable grips. Cylinder carries up perfectly and locks TIGHT. No endshake. Cylinder stop recesses in the cylinder are NOT wallowed-out in the slightest. Slight turn line, some light handling scratches here and there. Very smooth action. This revolver has been fired, but not much either by me or the original owner. I'm not sure this is a revolver or a just a flame thrower that spits out a chunk of lead. The buyer is cautioned to wear anti-flash protective gear during firing. Haven't fired it much to say how accurate, but it did bust claybirds on edge on the 25 yd berm using 9.0 gr of Unique under a 240 gr cast lead bullet. The fingergroove combats are unmarked, have beautiful grain, and are finished in a really nice satin as opposed to the high gloss on some of these grips. Easy to hold onto. The cylinder stop recesses are longer and deeper to accept the larger cylinder stop. I bought this form the original owner who bought it and almost immediately sold it because he wanted to purchase a rifle. There have been 15 rounds total through this revolver. NO BOX OR PAPERS. Cylinder carries up perfectly and locks up tight. Sweet pre-lock DA and SA trigger pulls. Very slight small ding on bottom edge of left grip; blueing is 99.8%.
