This a beautiful sambar stag buckle with a built-in knife. I purchased it many years ago at the OKCA, (Oregon Knife Collectors Association), show.
I don't remember the knifemaker's name and unfortunately he didn't put his mark on it anywhere. I do remember him telling me it was crafted entirely out of 440C stainless steel.
It is mirror polished and the sambar stag is thick and substantial. It is approximately 2 3/4" wide, 1 3/4" high and the blade is approximately 2" long, (cutting edge), and 1 1/8" wide. It should fit belts up to 1 1/2".
