Browning Hi Power Mark iii, in 9mm, Belgian made and assembled. Has 1986 serial date and forged frame but is clearly a Mark iii.
This thing is ugly due to a previous owner painting it black, which is clearly coming off. It is original blue underneath and not chrome, which it looks like under the black paint. I bought this just as you see it intending it as a project gun to have stripped, refinished and customized to my liking but have other projects I need to do first. It would still be an excellent donor gun for such a project by a new owner. I've fired it only once (1 magazine) and it functions exactly like my other (pristine) Mark iii. It's just ugly.
Has the usual Hi Power magazine safety, stiff gritty trigger, etc. Will come with the 2 mags shown, one of which looks to be Mec Gar (Italian) and the other unknown.
Great price for a made-in-Belgium version which allows you either a cheap truck gun, or great subject for customization without breaking the bank.
