Full John Jardine Custom signature build STI Tactical 5.0 2011 in .45acp.
John is a world-renowned pistol smith, the nephew of the legendary 1911 pistol smith Armand Swenson. On top of learning everything he knows about the 1911 from Armand, John is also known for designing and importing the very limited Valtro 1998a1 which is so coveted by collectors today. His full signature builds can take years before they are started. His waiting list has been closed for quite a few years now and has stated that he has enough builds back logged to last for the rest of his life.
This gun is from approx. 2007 with an SAS serial number, probably some of the best early STI weapons were under this SAS serial number range. (Shirley Ann Skinner)
This gun was built by John Jardine in 2015 for a California Bay Area officer as his carry weapon so it has minimal holster wear. Estimated about 2000 rounds fired.
Comes with 4 Gen1 12rd, 126mm mags that have been blocked to 10rds. There are also 8 Gen1 factory 10rd, 126mm magazines and 4 brand new, still in the package Gen2 STI 10rd, 126mm mags for a total of 16 mags.
The gun will also come with a Dawson magazine tuning kit.
Comes with its original STI box, owners manual, blank warranty card, 2006 STI catalog, Jardine build sheet and receipt, some original take off parts, two other Gen 1 grip modules, its original magwell, a Kydex holster and some tuned extractors as listed on the build sheet.
This thing is as smooth as butter! The closer you look at this thing, you will see all the subtle touches of Jardines master work.
